In legend, the Shikon No Tama is a powerful sacred jewel which contains the soul of an ancient warrior Midoriko and many souls of youkai.
The dark miko Tsubaki works her houriki on the Shikon no Tama turning it black.
Mercenaries known as the Band of Seven all have dark Shikon no Tama fragments within their bodies.
Naraku also likes turning the Shikon no Tama dark sometimes.
We feel this is how the Dark Shikon no Tama Necklace would have looked.

It would be very difficult, and stressful for our sacred jewel makers to seal good and evil within the chaos using courage, knowledge, friendship, and love to make each sacred jewel.
Instead, our Dark Shikon no Tama Necklace is made using a 1" / 25mm black onyx sphere, which is the size of a small semiprecious crystal ball, as the sacred jewel.
Diamond shaped black onyx pieces surround the Dark Shikon no Tama separated by sterling silver beads all of which are strung on strong 3 strand 100% natural silk thread.

Each necklace is hand-crafted and unique just like the Shikon No Tama that inspired this creation.
We strongly suggest using this necklace for good rather than evil.

Dark Shikon no Kakera
Jar of Sacred Jewel Shards

The Shikon No Kakera Jar (fragments / shards of the shikon no tama) is inspired from the manga comic and anime series Inu yasha.
The dark miko Tsubaki changes the Shikon no Tama, and the Shikon no Kakera in Kagome's Jar, from pink to black using her dark houriki.
Also, the mercenaries known as "The Band of Seven" all have dark shikon no kakera located within their bodies.
Naraku also likes changing the Shikon no Tama to dark sometimes.
To recreate the legend, we chose a corked glass bottle / jar that we feel is almost identical to the jar Kagome uses.
The stone shards used to fill each jar are obsidian vibrational pieces.
The amount of dark shikon shards in each jar vary being that each sacred jewel fragment varies in size.
The amount of houriki (Buddhist magicks) present in each shard depends on the user.
